Todd M. Knisely and his character assassination themed website, MichaelNuccitelli.Net, was best defined as a mixture of defamation, fake news, disinformation and sheer nonsense. As of January 31, 2017, his website had been down for three weeks. After contacting GoDaddy, the site was parked due to non-payment and not because it was being updated as he espoused. I can safely say that his bizarre obsession, with my work, will drive him to launch his felonious content again.

The only difference is that he can no longer use MichaelNuccitelli.Net. Effective February 9, 2017, MichaelNuccitelli.Net is now owned by yours truly. On this day, the domain was won for $12 dollars in a GoDaddy auction. When he did own it, the website alleged that I supported pedophilia, was a federal agent, neo-nazi, scammer, wife beater, pathological liar, plagiarist, attempted murderer, Anonymous wannabee and criminal. I don’t know how it’s possible, but he also purported I’m Jewish and a Neo-Nazi at the same time. The MichaelNuccitelli.Net URL is now forwarded to my new educational internet safety blog, MichaelNuccitelli.Org.

Everything he’s published is utter bullshit. Todd Knisely meets criteria for an iPredator and Predatory Troll. After verifying his criminal history, felony conviction and recent arrest? It’s highly probable that he is either a psychopath or suffers from an Axis II Anti-Social Personality Disorder. I cannot validate my assumptions because I did not perform a forensic evaluation to assess his psychological functioning.

Todd Knisely Disinformation Nonsense Author

I’m but one online user he has attacked. He’s targeted men, women, children and businesses. Mr. Knisely does not typically divulge his identity and uses the online moniker called Shadow. He is not a hacker, information security expert or cyber security professional. He is not part of the activist entity called Anonymous nor does he volunteer his time helping those who have been targeted by iPredators.

He is skilled at basic programming, resides in Somerset, PA and does not own or work for a computer company. Todd M. Knisely (aka, Shadow) primarily spends his life in G+, Facebook and Twitter. It is from these social platforms that he targets online users. One of his most laughable defamatory attempts is his Google+ community titled “Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D. Scammer”.

The purpose of this blog post is not to defend my reputation, constructs or work, but to alert online users about Todd M. Knisely and how online assailants use the internet to troll, slander and defame others. Mr. Knisely is but one of thousands who use cyberspace to knowingly author disinformation and fake news. It is for this reason that I presented his profile before the Colorado Psychological Association (CPA) in November. 2016 and will be doing the same before the Vermont Psychological Association (VPA) in March, 2017. It is vital for citizens of the Information Age to learn about these egregious online activities.

Todd M. Knisely (aka, Shadow) – Predatory Troll

Predatory Trolls: Predatory Trolls are a new breed of Internet Troll that evolved from the Classic Troll. Just as Classic Trolls, Predatory Trolls can be ex-work associates, ex-partners and loved ones. They may also be unknown online assailants. Predatory Trolls may target others alone, but increasingly work in groups (aka, Troll Triad). Like all trolls, Predatory Trolls are driven by needs for power, recognition, peer acceptance and control.

Different from Classic Trolls is that their primary goal is to destroy an online user’s reputation, online presence and trustworthiness. With the advancement of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Predatory Trolls may be employed by groups and governments in covert operations to destroy a target’s reputation.

Like all Predatory Trolls, Todd M. Knisely is proficient at cyberstealth, disinformation campaigns and online deception. He takes partial truths and adulterates them into grand felonious stories. I could spend the next 5000 words defending myself, but a simple google search of “Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D.” or “iPredator” will allow you to make your own determination. If interested, one of our internet safety volunteers, Ms. Vic Urben, authored a blog post defending my reputation titled “The Real Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D.”.

Thank You Todd M. Knisely (aka, Shadow)

The silver lining to Todd Knisely’s ridiculous accusations is that he validates my work and constructs. With each victim I help and with each professional organization and agency I train, his nonsense is included as an illustration. He validates iPredator. I say to Mr. Knisely? Thank You. Unfortunately, there are thousands of people who lose their jobs, families and reputations because of disinformation and fake news. It is for those people who are victimized by the Todd Knisely’s of the world that I write this web article.

“For 4+ years, Todd M. Knisely (aka, Shadow) has exploited, defamed and cyber attacked countless numbers of online users throughout G+ and other social platforms. Using his moniker called Shadow, he trolls men, women and children without remorse. Todd M. Knisely is not an information security expert, skilled hacker, Anonymous activist or iPredator profiler. He is not incorporated nor is he part of a group of concerned citizen hackers called “Shadows”. Todd M. Knisely is none of these.” Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D. (2016)

Todd Knisely’s 2 Minutes of Fake News Fame

In conclusion, I leave you with one last example illustrating how skilled Todd Knisely is in the art of deception. After his arrest in August 2016, a local news station interviewed him without first verifying his preposterous story. Not only is the news clip a prime example of fake news, but the reporter actually fell for his nonsense by stating that “he runs an online conglomerate of computer hackers from all over the world called “Shadows”. I wonder why the other news outlets did not report his account of how and why he was arrested. Provided here is the link to watch his two minutes of fake news fame.

Dark Side of Cyberspace Images

by

Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D.

You and I may not feel it, but we are all at the beginning of the Information Age. Like a double edged sword, the advantages and disadvantages of Information and Communications Technology are clear. If someone says to me again, “Dr. Nuccitelli, what do you want us to do, turn off the internet?”, I think I will throw my digital devices out the window. For the record, I love cyberspace and grateful for its many benefits. What I don’t understand is how little is being done to teach children and the rest of society about the dark side of cyberspace and the typologies of iPredator.

At times, it feels like society has buried its head in the sand in relationship to internet safety and cyber attack prevention. It is truly unfortunate that the vast majority of online users do not pay attention to information security and cyber attack prevention until they, their loved ones or wallet are cyber attacked. Not only do I think basic internet safety, Digital Citizenship and how to conduct oneself in cyberspace be taught in schools, but it should be a national priority. For now, the best we can do, for those of us who give a damn, is to encourage awareness.

To achieve this aim, pasted below are twenty images and quotes to help think about how to protect yourself, loved ones and business. All the images are free to download, share and edit for educational purposes. For most devices, simply right click on the image and click “save as” to download to your device. The Story Behind the Story with A. True Ott

Internet Radio Interview

Show Description: Join internet radio show host, A. True Ott, Ph.D. of the “The Story Behind the Story” on Friday October 23, 2015 as he interviews the author of the iPredator construct, Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D. and Olga Vera, Ph.D. of the University of Colorado Boulder. Date/Time: Friday October 23, 2015 (10pm-12am EST, 8pm-10pm MST, 7pm-9pm PST). To listen at a later date, the show is available by clicking on the radio image here. As of October 29, 2015, the first hour is available to listen to with the second hour to follow.

ipredator-internet-radio-image

ODDOR

Offline Distress Dictates Online Response (ODDOR) is a sub-tenet of iPredator, which posits that offline psychological functioning directly influences one’s online interactions. Whether someone is an online assailant, cyber attack target or both, ODDOR does not discriminate. ODDOR postulates that temporary and long-standing psychological states can significantly taint an online user’s behaviors and interpretations. Perceptually isolated, ignorance of the existence of ODDOR and experiencing atypical affective and cognitive states increases the probability of being targeted by an online assailant. In addition to being at a greater risk of being cyber attacked, ODDOR influences an online user to partake in destructive and self-destructive online activities.

If a person is self-aware and reasonably healthy, their levels of ODDOR are less likely to become problematic. Just as self-awareness acts as a buffer between mental health and dysfunction, the same holds true for ODDOR. An online user’s risks of engaging in destructive and self-destructive behaviors are greatly diminished by monitoring one’s attitude before and during ICT usage. The ODDOR factors online users must be mindful of include

  • Using ICT in an altered state of consciousness.
  • Using ICT with an amplified sense of optimism or fatalism
  • Using ICT to explore deviant or dark internal fantasies.
  • Using ICT in a heightened state of distress, anger or carelessness.
  • Using ICT with a medical condition that impacts intellectual functioning.
  • Using ICT during affective states that are isolation or rejection themed.
  • Using ICT during interpersonal conflicts and environmental stress.

ODDOR has minimal impact when an online user is cognizant of how others can misinterpret their perceptual biases and color the information they aggregate, disseminate and exchange. ODDOR poses a minimal risk when an online user’s faculties responsible for self-preservation are functioning properly in all online environments.

When Offline Distress Influences Online Interactions

For forensic psychology students and enthusiasts interested in learning about the dark side of cyberspace, this writer recently finished his cybercriminal target paper titled, “Offline Distress Dictates Online Response [ODDOR]”. ODDOR is a concept addressing how an online user’s offline attitudes and daily functioning have a direct impact upon their online functioning. Dark Psychology – Blog Version by Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D.

 Dark Psychology Blog Version

by

Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D.

dark-psychology-blog-version-michael-nuccitelli-psy.d.-ipredator-ipredator-inc.

Dark Psychology includes all criminal and deviant behaviors committed upon other innocent victims. Although many people are intrigued by the discussion of the serial killer and psychopath, the vast majority of predators hunting human prey are not engaged in murder or sexual deviance. If this writer were to make an estimate, he would put the percentage of human predators at roughly 70% of the total pool of people who are out to victimize others, but who are not involved in murder or sexual deviance. The remaining 30% are the most dangerous because they seek physical human contact.

This writer has constructed what he believes is a sound theory of the human predator. Dark Psychology assumes what lives within all of us is a potential reservoir of violent malicious energy. All human aggressive and hostile dysfunctional behavior lies on a continuum of purposiveness defined by this writer as the Dark Continuum. Most of these behaviors lie somewhere on the Dark Continuum with most being in the category of subtle, mild and with fleeting thoughts and minor shortfalls. The reality though is Dark Psychology is a universal phenomenon, and there is no dispute all of us, at times in our lives, have had at least thoughts of sheer violence and predatory fantasies.

The difference is the vast majority of humanity has never acted upon those thoughts. The reason is that we have a low Dark Factor equation compared to the predators. The Dark Factor is the realm, place and potential that exists in all of us and is part of the human condition. This concept is one of the more abstract terms of Dark Psychology, because it is so hard to illustrate via the written expression. For criminal and deviant people, their Dark Factor is elevated; influencing them to move in a direction towards what many define as evil and this writer defines as a trajectory accelerating towards the Dark Singularity.

“It is the individual who is not interested in his fellow men who has the greatest difficulties in life and provides the greatest injury to others. It is from among such individuals that all human failures spring.” Alfred Adler [1870-1937]

Alfred Adler’s theories were a powerful influence in this writer’s creation of Dark Psychology. He strongly adheres to Adler’s philosophy that behavior is purposive. The only slight philosophical divergence from Adler is this writer’s belief that all behavior is 99% purposive. He holds the remaining 1% as being within the realm of the black hole of the Dark Singularity. The black hole of the singularity is the area of evil that the predator comes close to, but never reaches.

dark-psychology-blog-version-michael-nuccitelli-psy.d.-ipredator-ipredator-inc.

Dark Singularity

The Dark Singularity is the potential in all of us to behave as a predator, hunting human prey completely and utterly devoid of purpose. This writer also strongly subscribes to Adler’s theory of subjective processing. Dark Psychology and the human predator have a highly distorted perceptual filtering mechanism. For them, it is no longer about being compassionate and kind. Their subjective processing colors all of their thoughts, emotions and perceptions with blackness and venom.

At some point in the development of the human predator, he/she actuates his thoughts and feelings and starts down the long road of what contemporary criminologist call psychopathy. Within time, their subjective processing filter becomes divorced from experiencing remorse. They come to perceive that the victimization of others is deserved by those who are too naive to protect themselves.

dark-psychology-blog-version-michael-nuccitelli-psy.d.-ipredator-ipredator-inc.

Dark Factor

Given that, a large portion of human development surrounds social acceptance, the predator somehow moves into the arena where his/her Dark Factor becomes an active force fueling an urge for the destruction of others. Once touched by the realm of psychopathy, he has entered the point of no return. Just as light cannot escape a black hole, the human predator cannot escape the path towards the Dark Singularity. Interviews conducted by forensic profilers and research scientists with convicted notorious psychopaths have proven the theory of accelerated movement towards the Dark Singularity.

Some believe, this accelerated trajectory to victimize others is more similar to what has been called a compulsive dependency theory. Although this writer agrees with the compulsive dependency hypothesis of increased needs by human predators to victimize others, Dark Psychology assumes these needs can become needless and less purposive.

Not only have psychopaths divulged a perception of experiencing a sense that their evil acts accelerate in frequency, but also their experience of acting as predator takes on an addictive quality. Using cosmology once again as a metaphor for Dark Psychology, the closer matter approaches a black hole, the faster mass accelerates and can never swing away from the black hole’s awesome gravity. Interviews with psychopaths almost exactly mimic this universal law of astrophysics.

As society moves further into what is defined as the Information Age filled with digital technology and cyberspace, Dark Psychology and its impact on humanity will be tested at greater rates. Given the veil of anonymity cyberspace offers all humanity, the question remains is if the nefarious aspects living within all of us will recognize there is a realm of free reign called the digital universe. Dark Psychology is the study of the chasm within us all, which only the few enter, and even fewer ever exit. Without a natural predator to cause humans to rally, we prey upon one another.

Information Age Education Webpage Updated

Information Age Education (IAE) is an internet safety and cyber attack prevention concept I authored last year to encourage educators, parents and all online users to consider adapting when they use Information and Communications Technology. With the growth of cyberbullying, cyberstalking, online sexual predation and other darkside of cyberspace assailants, IAE introduces a three-pronged educational solution for consideration.

Recently updated and provided below is the search result and link to our iPredator Information Age Education (IAE) page. At the base of the IAE webpage, click on the blue fingerprint image to download the PDF article. I’ve also pasted below new Information Age Education images to download at no cost or having to provide an email address. To download images, click on the image, right click and hit “save as” to save to your desktop or a file folder.

Information Age Education (IAE): Information Age Education (IAE) is a cyber attack prevention paradigm offering a resolution to reducing the negative consequences of living in the Information Age. Information and Communications Technology presents positive and negative influences upon humanity, in which the negative aspects grow at a feverish pace. Cyberbullying, cyberstalking and online sexual predation are just a few of these destructive forces. IAE prioritizes prevention education, non-denominational family values, and humility as solutions to connecting the disconnected, educating the ignorant, and conquering the corrupt. IAE is an educational concept, not just for children of the Information Age, but all online users.
